The Schrader Pacific Lead Free* Tank Valves are in compliance with the “Reduction of Lead in Drinking Water Act”, more commonly known as the Lead Free law went into effect on January 4, 2014.

This federal legislation prohibits any surface that touches drinking water/fluids from having lead content higher than 0.25%. In response, Schrader Pacific offers three sizes of Lead Free* Tank Valve assemblies, each featuring our low opening pressure valve core with special Lead Free* components.

Schrader Pacific Tank Valve part numbers include: 560LL, 900LL, and 906LL.

* On January 4, 2014 the “Reduction of Lead in Drinking Water Act”, more commonly known as the Lead Free law, went into effect. The new national mandate requires that every pipe, fixture, and fitting used to convey water for potable use contain less than 0.25% of lead by weight.
